I received a letter from the FOS at the weekend regarding my outstanding claim against Lloyds credit card ppi. the ajudicator is asking me to provide a copy of the original agreement; copy of the PPI policy; method of sale (phone or internet?) To be honest I was hoping the letter was gong to contain their decision and I am puzzled why they are seeking this info at this late stage. Does it mean that Lloyds can't find it? (the original agreement was with Accucard which later became Lloyds) Any thoughts anyone????

Hi Gezza
It does help if you have these items to send (in copies), so if you also bank with lloyds call in at your local branch and ask if they would be kind enough to give you copies of these for free of charge, otherwise you will have to write to the data debt to request for a copy (enclose the account number on the letter to request for the copy of the agreement) and enclose £1 postal order or cheque payment, and tell them you look forward to receiving these by 12 days of your letter request.
The only other way would be to request a SAR (Subject Access Request) which costs £10 payable like the above method and they have 40 days to compy.
Here is the SAR letter template here with details:

this way (SAR) they should send ALL they hold on your account.
Let the adjudicator know you are doing this.;)The one and only "Dizzy Di"

I managed to find a copy of the CCA; payment protection policy and I called the caseworker @ FOS who explained that the adjudicator passed my file back due to missing info which I seem to have found now. The lady @ FOS said it could take Lloyds quite a while to produce these docs so they tend to ask consumer first.....so that explains that. I have to wait for my file to go back to an adjudicator so could be months away for a final decision. Gotta keep at it!!!0
