moving and renting
Hi,
I have the very real possibility of being offered a better job 250 miles from my current location. We own our house and have an IVA. The new job is great for my future (IP told me those things are taken into consideration) but because of the additional cost of living near London and commuting, i would not be able to add much more to the IVA.
1). My questions are:- Is the Ip likely to be sympathetic to my case to move, earning more , but paying little extra, in view of my better position for the future?. I belive they are supposed to consider both parties in an IVA.
2). Most letting property agencies tend to do a basic credit cheque before accpeting a new tenant. Am I likely therefore to find it really difficult to rent anywhere?
3). Is my mortgage company (Northern Rock..surprise surprise) going to agree to let me rent out my property when we move?
