Google shopping search problem arghhh

This morning I have been looking for a few bits for my son's birthday for Saturday using google shopping and of course ticking the show results from UK box but it is showing the currency in dollars every time which is very frustrating.
It was fine yesterday and showing in uk pounds.
I found I had two FakeAlert trojans this morning but they have been removed and I have restored my laptop to 4 days ago when I know I didnt have any problems so does anyone know how to get the currency back to pounds instead of dollars?

    I had this problem a few weeks ago, it kept reverting to US google rather than UK. I found that deleting my cookies got it working again as normal

    Cleared all cookies and internet browsing and STILL showing shopping results in dollars. It is doing in on all the browsers so mot just google chrome which is the browser I use 95% of the time. Anyone else have any suggestions how to rectify this problem
