How many months should you wait, before applying for a batch of cards?

If you apply for a batch of credit cards, (2-3), as you shouldnt apply for so many cards at once,...

How many months should i wait until i apply for more (if i want to apply for 1-2 more?), but should give space, as too many searches now is not great.

To be on the safe side, how many months should i wait...
3 months from now?? 6 months? 8 months? 10 months?

what is usually advised?

How many cards do you already have? What are their limits and how much do you earn? With your last "batch" were you accepted or declined?

Danny, I must say, your posts seem to be getting stranger and more desperate sounding by the day. Are some of the issues you are facing not going to be made even worse by your obsession with credit cards?

Theres Too many conspiricy theorists on this forum lol!

I dont have an urge for lots, just a few. To use for emergency purchases, shopping etc, even if the limit is just £500.

lots of cards is like 10- I heard some members here have 8-12 cards here?
I wonder why they have so many too. I just want some low limit ones, thats all.

I would be happy with just 1-2 cards.

How many do i have now? (many of them have expired/closed as I didnt use them within 2 yearss)

Using a credit card for day to day purchases (shopping etc.) is asking for trouble.

If you don't have any excessive borrowing needs then there is no need to aplpy for loads at once.
Why not just apply for one or two and wait a bit.
The max number you should need is two really.

I haev two but that's only because one is AMEX and it's not accepted everywhere so I need a backup.

There is nothing wrong with using credit cards for shopping/day-to-day purchases if you can afford the items and will pay it off at the end of the month.
I'm not sure what ILW meant, but buying things you cannot afford is a problem.
Using credit cards is not a problem.
It's excessive spending that's the problem.
Many of us use credit cards very sensibly.

Better to use a debit card, much less danger of being led astray.

But no consumer protection under SC75..

Get the best of both worlds by using a debit card for normal purchases, and credit card for anything over £100.
