Double glazing problem

Hi
I had a local company install my double glazing and was very pleased with the results. I paid them in full with a building society cheque after completion.
However, on closer inspection when cleaning the windows, I've noticed slight scratching on the kitchen door glass, and also tiny white specks of powder in one spot on the patio door (silica?).
Despite three phone calls over the past two weeks, along with promises by the company to send the proprietor to inspect, I'm still waiting and don't know what to do for the best.
I don't want to alienate the company in case I need to call them out for a more serious problem should one arise in the future, but feel that, as my dad used to say, "You wouldn't buy a brand new car with a scratch on it."
Any advice would be appreciated.
Thank you.

I have had several issues over the years with scratches etc they have always been sorted immediately by the firms that I have used.
I think you should get 'firm' with them.....
By the way if its a problem with the glass its no skin off their nose cos they don't make up the units a third party does.0 -
Good news. The boss has turned up and agreed to rectify the faults!0
