Banks offering safety deposit boxes

Does anyone know which banks still offer to store your valuables in safety deposit boxes?
I am aware Barclays used to, but not sure if they do for new customers. Also am i right in thinking i need to provide my own insurance, would my home insurance cover it? TIA

many banks are providing such facilities but they will expect some documents or you need to fulfill their conditions ....... better to try.....0
