Having problems with Hijackthis

Hi all. I'm trying to clean out a laptop for my friend and have already installed Avira and ran Malwarebytes. I'm now trying to use Hijackthis but it doesnt seem to be working. Soon after I press 'Scan and Log' it comes up with a box saying that my system denied wtite access to the Hosts file. I'm not sure what to do now. I press Ok and it finishes the Hijack but doesnt show anything on Wordpad at the end.

Does anyone know what I can do, or what I'm doing wrong?

Whilst pressing the SHIFT key, RIGHT click the hijack.exe file and select RUN AS

I uninstalled and downloaded another version and it's seem to have worked.

Could someone possibly check this Hijack log for me to see if there is anything wrong?
