ok we seem to have had everything else to do with a weddings but i need inspiration for how to have my hair.
It shoulder length and brown, kinda all one lenth as im growing it out in preparation, im expecting it to grow a little bit longer it usually does as soon as the sun starts shining. But it will probably still only just touch my shoulders.
I want it up, i dont want any unecessary dangly bits but i also dont want it all scarped back as my lugs seem to stick out way too far whaen its all pinned back.
Im having a 1 tiered cathedral length veil with a simple tiara and my dress is elegant, cant say too much more as i know DF comes on here a lot.
What are you having done?

TBH If your hair is going to be shoulder length you can have anything you want, with "hair up do's" it is alot of tucking the hair away to neaten any loose ends (unless you want them to stick out)
A simple but classic french pleat can alway be dressed up with some diamontes under your veil.
Or an elaberate up do thet will look great when your veil is removed.
And the neckline of your dress needs to be taken into concideration
YOur hairdresser should offer a practice for you and go thru a few styles (not much hairspray is used so it can be brushed out to start again)
Hope this helps:DI am pleased to give hairdressing help or advice, but a thank you doesn't go a miss.

Also you have to take into consideration how you wear your hair every day up or down??? is it straight, curly, kinky???
I checked loads of websites and magazines for inspiration!!!:heartsmil Engaged 31st May 2008 :heartsmil

Have you spoken to your own hairdresser about what will suit your hair, face, the neckline of your dress and whether you are wearing a veil?
I'm having mine down, and more curly than wavy IYKWIM. It will be super shiny & smooth as I'm having a keratin treatment shortly before the wedding.0 -
my hair is poker straight, cant personaly do anything with it. Its always down at the mniute as its not really long enough to do anything with except put in in a pony tail. I personnally dont have time to be faffing with my hair on a morning.
Ive seen loads of pictures, take them, in to different hair dressers and always come out with something totally diferent to the picture as its their interpretation. I always get loads and loads of loose stray stragglers that really annoy me and i think, jees how do those celebs get the perfect hair not out of place look.
i want something with volume and dimension. Does that make sense, something that i can make a statement with.:TIs thankful to those who have shared their :T

Im having my hair down and curly (mainly because the OH always comments on how much he likes my hair down and curly and i should do it more often!)
My hair goes fairly curly if i let it dry naturally, or straight if i brush it through during drying.... I went to a photoshoot this weekend for a friends hen party and had my hair put in curls on saturday and it was still curly on sunday! I was worried they wouldnt hold and it would be all straggly and horrible by the evening.
I had my hair put into an up do for my graduation a couple of years ago and it was hurting so much by the end of the evening that i'm keen to avoid having it up again.:jProud mummy to a beautiful baby girl born 22/12/11 :j0 -
Yeah i see your point!!!! If you can tell the hairdresser exactly how u want it itll b easier to work it out!!! Hairspray always helps and curls can add volume and thickness!!!!:heartsmil Engaged 31st May 2008 :heartsmil

Love the third one, its classy, weddingy but not too "done".
Have a chat with your usual hairdresser & see what they suggest, and have a trial (or two!) to see what works and what you like.0 -
My dress is elegant but i think rocky hair will work quite well as its simple on top - google sandra - berketex (name will be removed shortly so please dont quote) and i have been maried before and had that hair style that i dont want when i got married then, so i want something totally diferent and as far away from that style as possible, plus i always go clean and simple and i feel i want to branch out.
Providing i dont look like a prize pill0ck.:TIs thankful to those who have shared their :T
