google street view wont work

when i try to use google street view,,heres what happens

the little yellow man shows up at the top of the zoom bar, i can drag him over the area i want to see and it shows up the available area in blue, but thats it, it wont go to street view and the yellow man disapears, if i close the window and then open again the yellow man is there again. This on my lap top, it used to work and im not sure whats altered. It works fine on my pc.
any ideas anyone?

What browser are you using? Try clearing your cache and see if it starts working then

no that didnt work. ive tried clearing cache, still no good. im using internet explorer

I had the problem last week, i put it down to the houses i was trying to view in street view had requested the photos be removed but im not sure

no its not that, it works on my pc, its something in my settings. ive tried a different browser, that doesnt work either

What was the other browser that you tried?

Is the PC that works on the same connection as the laptop, or is the laptop connecting to the internet separately?

i tried safari. yes the laptop and pc use the same connection, but the laptop is wifi.

Try clearing your flash cache and if that doesn't work, uninstall and reinstall flash.

is google street view memory hungry? i have found my system slows down when i am useing it? could not enough memory cause the ops problem?
