it was on more4. I was interested because the couple are renovating parts of their huge mansion and selling them off as apartments.
But I wondered about the leases and ownership, how would this work? They own the whole building and bit by bit they are doing up the house to turn parts of it into apartments. But say you bought one of the apartments which is already done, the others arent finished yet so does that affect any lease and what about service charges?
Im just curious as to how it would work, I have no intention of buying a million pound apartment!

It don't affect the lease. Service charges are guessed-amated on all new builds, and then usually go up!0
