series resisistor VW Touran
Hi - I have a VW Touran 1.9tdi SE 105bhp.
The series resisistor went in Sept and we replaced it (basically air blower totally failed and blower only works at 4). Went until about 6 weeks ago when the same thing happened and we put in another new one and now this one has gone!!
Any suggestions
Thanks

I would say there is something wrong with your heater blower motor such that it is drawing too much current leading to the resistor failing.
But please don't spend too much money based on my opinion from afar... get an auto electrician to look at it.0
