Is the garden shed good enough to go onto Freecycle? If so, put it on there.
if not - stick it in there and your local free ads as free firewood - buyer collects!
Option 3 - is there anyone you know who could take it in their car to the local tip for a few beers?
Option 4 - are there any builders working in the area not using skips who could take it for a tenner or so? They will often need to get rid of rubbish and often your little stash won't make any odds to them as they've got to take a trip anyway. I've done this a few times for people in my area or close to where I'm working.
