Hi all,
Just got an iphone 3gs and wondered if any one could help me setting it up so I could receive my ntlworld (via virgin media) e-mails
I currently have it set to pop (not sure what the difference is between this and imap)
Pop account info
Name - My name
Address - Name.surname@ntlworld.com
Description - my e-mails
Incoming Mail Sever
Host Name - mail.vodafone.net
user name - my e-mail address again
Password - the one I use to access my account on ntl
Outgoing mail sever
Smtp - smtp.vodafone.net
If it matters use SSL is off and the server port is 25
Any help would be greatly appreciated

According to Apple, your incoming mail server should be mail.virgin.net.0
-
Right changed that and now says cannot get mail, the connection to the sever "mail.virgin.net" failed0
-
OK, try these settings:0
