Tax credits review

Hi all i am new so be gentle. Had a letter in to call the tax review team on 01744621068 have been phoning for 4 days and it just rings there is no answer phone or anything. Phoned the tax credits line and they told me to keep trying anyone else having the same problem.

Same here, I received the letter over two weeks ago and phoned and phoned and phoned, just rang out. Eventually, last Friday, after letting it ring for 5 minutes, I eventually got a girl who took down my reference and phone number and said someone would call me back, but still nothing. My worry is that I have no proof that I have been trying to call them and I'm concerned that I may get a threatening letter taking it further.

The tax credit people told me they would take a note that i was trying to get through but i thought that it was different departments according to some other posts.

Finally got through today after trying all this time they told me to bin the letter as it is the beginning of the new tax year and the renewals would be sent out shorthly.
