Help to get my old Google back please

I downloaded the new Google toolbar the other day, but I can't make this one show last searches like the old one did.

Can I put the old one back or make this one show last few searches
I've looked at options but I can only find "popular searches"

I think I'd rather put old one back if anyone can help please

Not sure what you mean by the old and new but you just need to adjust the search options and check the Drop-down search history box.

I got a message saying did I want the new toolbar, so I downloaded it.
I've looked at all option choices but there isn't one for drop down search history like there used to be
Thats the one I want.

Can I find out which version I had, (which is the same as you I suppose) and put that back
