Hi I have the Samsung YP T9JB 4 gig mp3 player. I have just got a new computer and I cannot for the life of me find the drivers for this model anywhere! I don't have the original disc but am sure it just worked as plug and play before.
I have downloaded Samsungs media studio and also their new Ennio software but still the device is unrecognised.
I spent a frustrating 30 minutes on the phone to Samsung who were less than helpful.
"I have just googled and apparently you can get them from Driverwhizz"!!! Yes I googled it too and Driverwhizz want $40 to use them. Why haven't you got any drivers you can send me? We have never put them on the website!!!!!!!!!!!!
I am getting quite bored of listening to the same stuff so if anyone could point me in the right direction of where to get them or what I am doing wrong please let me know.
Thanks in advance

Hi - thanks for that but have tried these - both Media Studio and Emodio and my player is still not recognised - I need the actual drivers?0

I would try downloading MTP from Microsoft first and see if that works

Hi - no the microsoft thing didn't work either. All the player does when connected at first says USB transfer - do not disconnect then 10 seconds later it just starts charging.
It used to be recognised as a device on my old computer and you could just drag and drop files to it but not any more - very frustrating!!
I have reinstalled Samsung Emodio and even though it says the device is compatible it doesn't see it. What I need are the actual drivers for this model? Any help or advice?
God knows why Samsung don't have them on their site any more but they aren't know for their helpfulness or CS!!0 -
Looking throught the manual for it , it does say compatible with WIN XP service pack 2, i assume you have SP2 installed on this .
What operating system are you using ?
Or just download Windows Media Player 10 or aboveHi, we’ve had to remove your signature. If you’re not sure why please read the forum rules or email the forum team if you’re still unsure - MSE ForumTeam0 -
Thanks for all the advice - I got it working by rolling back the drivers and reinstalling them on the device manager - USB devices.
Thanks for your help0
