Hi there
The Financial ombudsman service (FOS) should be able to check an address on these for you, and should confirm if they are still active or not, if they are no longer active the FOS should then give you some details on which direction to take this, so give them a call to check this out if you want to here:

No doubt others have done the same thing, checking out with these for the details, good luck, please let us know how you get on, cheers.;)The one and only "Dizzy Di"

Arh right I am sure you can make a reclaim through the Financial compensation scheme then (FSCS), these are listed with them, so I would give them a ring and ask them on this, and they should send you a claim form.

Many of us who have been eligible to go this direction have been successful for being in the same situation as yourself with other companies that have gone down under.
There is also a thread here for help too.

Do give the above a ring though. Good luck.;)The one and only "Dizzy Di"

That means you need to take your claim to the Financial Services Compensation Scheme not London Scottish of the Financial Ombudsman Service.0

Hi there
I find that strange if this is London Scottish as these are listed with the FSCS (The financial compensation Scheme), but maybe in this case write to them and see if they come back with something first, if they cannot detal with your case then you can then let the FSCS know, and I would though as well state to the FSCS that you note London Scottish are listed with them.
Wonder if they have a few groups amongst London Scottish??
Can we help?
This page will tell you if the firm you are concerned about has been declared in default, and also where you stand with regards to compensation. Just enter the relevant information as required.
