Tues 23rd March - What small DFW things have you done today?!

mmmm i don't know if it is a good thing or bad thing?
Decided to be very MSE. Rather than spend £1.50 on a half size butter tub in my local shop i got my mum to drop me to MrT on her way home so i could buy a big tub for £1 and have a healthy 1.5mile walk home!!
So all good there. Though in MrT fruit flakes are down to £2 from £3.20 and these are never really on offer. DD2 doenst eat any fruit so she has a pack of fruit flakes and OJ everyday to help. Fruit flakes work out 40p a pack! so............
I spent £10 and bought 5 packs!! These will last all of april and half way into may. So spet £10 on items that i would normally have paid £16.00. So pretty good in that sense. Going to take it out of my april budget even though DF told me the other day not to get them as it would have to class as this budget!! But then i would be wasting a saving of £6 for the sake of my excel spreadsheet!!
So kinda good kinda bad as not such a LSD now!Orange Fairy

Hi everyone, well its a quick post as am off out in a min, Hubs is home today and we have managed to bicker this morning.... great isnt it!! So not a very productive day for me! But never mind, will take that walk round the shop later to clear my head and gain some sanity again!!!
Very small list at the mo:

- meals from store!
speak to you later x0 -
I have:
* packed lunches from home for OH and myself
* wrote to Tesco asking if they can add the £7 of lost Clubcard vouchers to next statement
* researched that I can spend Clubcard vouchers on a ridiculously expensive tourist attraction (the docks in Plymouth) that my Mum and partner are going to for his birthday enroute to Isle Of Wight - will swap vouchers for Reward tokens and give them to them as an extra present (means free trip rather than £18).
* withdrew £50 Paypal, but forgot to post the items sold on eBay. Whoops. x*paid off 19.3% of debt, as of 8/3/2010*0 -

My list today is like this:
- packed lunch

- still have £1 'pocket money' left
- min £2 PAD to cc#3
- bought mum's bday pressie and resisted all the other pretty things in the shop

LOL i hope they are very happy!!!
Well just made up a coffee in my thermos flask to take to college so i don't buy a hot drink. Saves me 60p-£1. Also taking an empty water bottle. We have a water dispensar but i always end up buying a bottle at M + S so will save me a bit of cash just to fill up my water bottle
