How Much Weight Can My Car Tow?

I won't say what car I have, but it's a small one .... what would be the term I would google for to establish what weight I can tow with it?

Whenever I do it, I put in my car then add maximum towing weight. Normally gets me there eventually.

The whattowcar site is based on your cars kerbweight i think, not the legal weight you can tow.

You also have braked or un-braked. Check manufacturers website and specs if you don't have a handbook.

Why not give us more information?

In that case I won't tell you what the towing weight is, but it's some kilograms.

PS. If it's small it probably won't tow the caravan you have in mind.

If it's a small car then you should be OK with towing at least 5 tonnes. [where's the rolleyes smiley when you need it]
