ebay promo code

I've got a voucher code that seems to be quite specific. It states...

"10% off one item, up to £70.00 discount. Only valid for items in category Special Promotions [URL="javascript:;"]See conditions[/URL]"

the special promotions links to a list of about 20 items, none of which I want.

Is this voucher really only for the special promo stuff and nothing else?

Yeah thats the code,but when i try to use it(on a buy it now payment in full required before winning) system wont accept it,called ebay who are supposidly looking into it for me.

Had the same problem: when I recieved an automated response I emailed back again.

Response was: "...Before I continue, I apologise if the auto-responder has not addressed
your concerns. I can confirm that you have received a voucher with code:
C-XXXX and will expire on 28th March. You may be able to use this
voucher up to 28th March. Also, we are aware of this issue and we're
working hard to resolve this.

In the meantime, you can use vouchers (sometimes called "coupons") to
pay for your eBay.co.uk purchases. "

So as far as I can assume, just process the voucher code you recieved in yout original email and Paypal will honour it.

My problem is I'm such an ebay noob I can't find a bargain I don't get out-priced on at the end of the auction....

I have a 10% voucher off code that expires 29/03 i thought you could use it on anything that you pay with paypal, but after reading this thread im confused. Can you only use it in 'Special Promotions' ? if so that is rubbish as it has 14 items listed that are no intrest of me

i got a 10% code and it wouldnt let me use it for a laptop purchase.

havent read the t&c's so not sure what i could use it for then.
