With reports of AVG9.0 being problematic i am looking for a free anti virus package. Any recommendations?

Avast but keep it updated, if it gets old virus get in very easily.0

I switched to using Avira after using AVG for years - the computer seems to be a lot quicker when starting up windows and updates / scans quicker too.Cheltenham Dude
