I think that is EXACTLY what is happening, i must have really upset somebody !!!donstermonster0 -
Would also do a credit check with experian or similar. It MAY be possible that someone has opened a bank account in your name and hoped to get the phones sent elsewhere / was sitting in a car outside your address and expected you to be out when the phones where delivered so they could have 'just got home' when the courier arrived.
Last time i checked experian checks could be done for free if you canceled within a month, though the £5 odd a month is worth paying in my opinion, as they will email you when new searches are made / accounts opened.0 -

Awaiting reports from main 3 cred ref but cannot have them yet as i need further verification that it really is me tryin:Tg to get the information i think that speaks volumes about what i am about to find out !donstermonster0 -
You definitely need to follow up on that original police incident number with the new information you now have!0

It is actually £6.99/month and you only get e-mail alerts once a month! If you do sign up for CreditExpert you really need to check your report daily after incidents such as these!0 -

"Passing off" is a crime so the Rozzers should be doing something about it, especially as it is HARRASSMENT as well, of you and the neighbour.
You are being harrassed under the Act, if an action causes you distress or harm, it does not matter if someone else would not care about it, it is the effect on you that matters under Law.
Not that I am an expert so get some Citizens Advice, Victim Support advice, etc.
In fact, it might come under the set of laws covering STALKING, and should be escalated by the Filth into a proper crime number. Perhaps. And investigated a bit more enthusiastically. IP addresses and names and addresses held by the ISP therefore, could be ordered by the Police, then the Old Bill could go round and feel their collar.
As to the credit reference agencies, once they are happy that you are you, arrange a decent password with them, one that the person that obvoiusly knows something about you, cannot work out (so not your pet's name, not date of birth, not house number, etc.
Then arrange for them to ask for it every time "you" phone up, or even write a letter, as proof it is not the other person hacking in.
Virgin Media do this if you ask.0
