Aldi or Lidl? Which is better?

Have never shopped in either of these before. I have a Lidl near me but not an Aldi.... is there much difference? :confused: To be honest I'm an ASDA/Tesco girl; I'll take a lot of convincing :p

I have to say the potato salad in both stores is lovely and in Lidl they do a fantastic cheap perfume called Chalon or something like that which is great for work and the refridgerated lasagne is good value for money also.
