    JSP 752, Chapter 1 Section 6.

    £10.20 a day.

Though, im not 100% on this, but i think it should be something like

    Total Paid - £316.20
    A deduction of £102.92

£213.28 to get you to work and back, though i guess its 4 weeks working 5 days, so £11 ish round trip, easy if you have a diesel car.

    Regards,

You got to get through what you've got to go through to get what you want but you got to know what you want to get through what you got to go through.

    Hi Alias

Thanks for your last reply i have been reading the jsp exciting stuff haha. I am wondering if you could help me with another query. I would ask my own HR but i am detached to industry and this can only be done by phone. I live in my own house as rules state that if you have a property within 50 miles you can not get sssa . Which i have no problem with as nice being home but as i have not been offered any accomodation do i have to pay the first 9 miles as i dont have any control over this as another part of the JSP says i have to live their. So would i be entitled to pay the first mile not the first 9.
I may have read it wrong as not admin but i have also been told this of someone else i work with.
    Thanks for your help

To try help this is copied from the jsp
HDT (Public)[FONT=Arial,Arial][FONT=Arial,Arial]. Those living in public accommodation often have little control over where their accommodation is situated. Thus, the Department provides them with a travel allowance. It is, however, considered reasonable for Service personnel to walk one mile to work. As a result, no financial support is given for any first mile travelled to and from work. This first mile is called the Personal Contribution (PC). Beyond the first mile, HDT (Public) provides

    Hi Angie
HDT public is for SFA occupants, HDT private which is what you will be getting is for personnel who live in their own property so you have to pay the first 9 miles.
  • I claim 25miles a day of HDT (private), the rate is about 32p a mile. The rates are different depending on whether it is manually added or automatic. Mine is automatic and it comes in at around £300 per month but couldn't swear to that as can't remember!!

My admin cell were very helpful.
