    Mission accomplished, I'm stuffed. :D
If you lend someone a tenner and never see them again, it was probably worth it.

    Haven't tried it. Sounds nice.

I did invite myself but you forgot to give me directions.

It's lovely. Do you mean you forgot to demand directions? Well, you'll know better next time! :p

    Well, that was surprisingly tough.

I've used two saucepans, the cruet pan, the frying pan, sieve, three big plates, one side plate and two bowls and a vast array of utensils. (Oh, who am I kidding - I haven't got a vast array of utensils!) Where's Mrs EE when you need her?

I am not good at this multi-tasking. :( How am I meant to drain rice, peel eggs, flake & de-bone fish and fry shallots all at once? I couldn't cope and forgot to add the curry powder while the shallots were frying, and only noticed when I was adding the rice and fish. So it went in a bit late. :o I guess that probably affected the flavour a little.

I did my usual trick of making far too much - I've eaten less than ½. You could probably have fed four on that easily. So, I thought I'd have the rest tomorrow, maybe with the yoghurt, which I left out this time. It was a bit dry but I suppose it's meant to be like that. I've never had kedgeree before, so I have nothing to compare it to and don't know if it was any good. I liked it though! :D

Once again, thank you all for your help and suggestions. :T :T

I make a curry sauce with mine.

couple of knobs of butter in small pan, medium heat. add tablespoon of plain flour and stir with wooden spoon. add teaspoon of curry paste/powder, continue to stir then add 1/2 pint of milk little at a time stirring all the time until all mixed in. bring to the boil stirring all the time. Add sachet of creamed coconut (optinal). once boiling simmer for a couple of mins (turn heat right down) if it's too think add more milk a little at a time till desired thickness. serve over/to the side of kedgeree.

I'm doing that next time. :T
