hi wonder if anyone could help me out with this problem.
Basically ive partitioned my PC into two so that i have XP on the main hard drive and windows 7 on disk drive C. My problem is, on XP i use outlook express and on Windows 7 i use windows live mail. If i open outlook express (on XP) it will open all my messages (read/unread/sent - great) but if i then after this log onto windows 7 and open 'windows live mail' It will only show mail which has been sent AFTER my viewing of outlook express, and no past mail.
Ideally i would like both to receive ALL emails simutaneasly not matter which is opened first - read/unread/sent
Is this possible to do ?

you can only have 1 os running so it is impossible to have an email reader on 2 separate os' get mail simultaneously0

Depends on your email provider etc, but you need to look into changing your Outlook Express and Live Mail settings from pop3 settings to imap.
More info than you need HERE.
Put simply this synchronises everything, I use imap with Thunderbird on both Ubuntu and Windows 7.
Also make sure somewhere in your setups there is a box ticked 'keep mail on server' or similar.Move along, nothing to see.0 -
Open Outlook express, go to Tools>Accounts>Properties>Advanced. Tick the box to leave messages on the server. That should help.Try saying "I have under-a-pound in my wallet" and listen to people react!0
