Tesco honour BOGOF when they are reduced
Safeway in the past didnt honour BOGOF's when reduced even when it clearly states BOGOF on the item i beleive this would come under false advertising and trading standards may be intrested so maybe have a word with them.0 -
I went to Morrisons in Paignton yesterday and when I was there I had a look at the Pyrex dishes.
They had 0.75 litre rectangular Pyrex dishes with plastic lids reduced to £1.49 and 0.8 litre round Pyrex dishes with glass lids reduced to £1.99. So they do sell both types, but someone hadn't bothered to check properly when they were putting up the signs / stacking the shelves.
They also had food reduced in a very silly way. £2.99 each - part of a buy two for £5 (stickered products) but reduced for a quick sale to £2.79! I have argued the point at the tills about the reduced items not being part of the deal, and that you then pay more for the two items, but their idea is that if you only want one of the item, then you save money! They have signs up in this Morrisons to say that reduced items are not part of bogof or two for deals.Quidco cashback paid out so far £745.89 :j0 -
The first part of the transaction is the invitation to treat, this is the price that is displayed. Only when the offer price is made, i.e. the supermarket what the money off you, is the price declared.
You then have two choices. Take it or leave it!0 -
