Yes avoid all of them at any cost!
Look at the Broag Avanta for a good budget boiler.0 -

What german boilers? theres only Viessmann that i know too.
If you mean vaillant then sorry but they are owned by glowworm and made in derbyshire,
Worcester bosch ain't german either.
With any boiler the most important thing is to fit to a clean system and fit a magna clean or spirovent. Crap in the system will kill a boiler quicker than anything else.0 -
Wrong way round.
Vaillant bought Glow Worm. Parts are shipped in to Belper and assembled there.
Go for a Dutch boiler. They are market leaders at present.0 -
My Glowworm Energysaver has run faultlessly for 11years. I would think that it has been superseded by new models in the time that I have had it. But no complaints from me about Glowworm boilers.I can afford anything that I want.
Just so long as I don't want much.0 -

Good afternoon: Remeha (aka Broag), Atag and Intergas...the OH fits Remehas (as well as Viessmann and Vaillant). Try DIYnot for details on/experience with the Atag and Intergas.
