Success with Citifinancial!

Hi All

I posted up a few weeks back regarding a very old Citifinancial Loan I have outstanding which is now being paid back through a Debt Collector.

Well I chanced my luck and sent off the first letter from the guide on here on the 9th of March to Citi. I received a generic response 3 days later saying they were dealing with it.

Today, I have received a letter back from them saying that whilst there's no evidence my PPI was mis-sold, as a gesture of goodwill they have agreed to refund me £657!! And a Cheque was in there with the letter!!

I can't believe it, one letter and 5 minutes of my time and I got everything I wanted. It is most definitely worth doing, I didn't request a copy of the agreement or anything, and didn't send any money - just went straight in with the first letter.

Thanks so much to everyone on here - the advice is so good and the support letters are great!

Thanks again!
