Getting rid of an insane spider plant
Hi all,
I have a raised bed type thing and inside it is an AWFUL spider type plant which catches on my tights every time I walk past it. I dislike it but it is huge and I want to know the best way of killing it off. Should I cut it down first then dig out the roots or should I kill it off another way? I want to use the raised bed (Well more of a massive wooden growing place) for an apple tree which needs to be moved so any help would be appreciated
Thanks in advance

If it's a fairly soft-stemmed plant, I would not try to kill it before removing - the problem is that when dead & dried they are much harder to cut through.
Personally I'd grab an axe and chop it at ground level, and then just leave the roots to rot away, unless they happen to be exactly where you want to put the apple tree.0 -
Cheers. Will give it a go. I flipping hate the plant lolFeb GC: £200 Spent: £190.790
