I feel so greedy

Thought I would try and claim back ppi on one of my loans I had with HFC (finishes in May) was successful with this. so I then tried with 2 of my LLoyds - they have upheld one and not the other.

So I had a brain wave this weekend and sent letters to the following

HFC - for first loan I ever had with them finished in 2004 when refinanced the one they have paid out on.

L&V - loan finished in 2004 to refinance the current one which ends in October 10

Lloyds/TSB cc - Settled 09, cancelled ppi in 08 but I had it from 1998

Barclays cc - current

So my dilema is now should I carry on and try for my store cards and the other loans I had with Lloyds in the past or is this pushing my luck and im just being down right greedy. I was only going to try the one bank loan originally

The reasons for missale are all the same have a good package with work and previous medical history i.e. depression/stress (hospitalised for this in the past).

If you have had complaints upheld for mis selling already and with the reasons you have stated then why shouldn't you try to claim these back Michelle. Go for it and good luck.

    Hi Michelle

Lol no your not being greedy.

I agree with Maxdp, if you were mis sold - its only right you should reclaim with what you have been deprived of (your own money).

I have had a fair few don't worry lol.

Left some details on your LV thread as well, good luck.;)

  • I should really be working but I change jobs next week so Ive lost all motivation
  • Hi Di

I know, cant believe it really. Sent the first letter out on 26/02/10 got reply within 5 days saying giving me £2,600 back and the second letter sent 1/03/10 to Lloyds and got the letter on 17/03/10 saying they will pay me out and Ive worked it out to be about £1,500.

Dont suppose I will be lucky on the others but what the heck Im happy with the above, anything else will be a bonus and pay for my big 50 in Mexico next year. If I do get anything Ill be able to pay for my kids (big kids actually aged 23 and 21) and we can have a family holiday
