Aggregate Quants for Concrete

Hi..
Help Me Please...
I need to mix 0.6m3 concrete for a slab for a shed.
Can someone tell me how much cement, sand and ballast I need.
I have tried different online calculators and they are telling me something different!..

They will tell you different quantities as they vary per mix design.

The specific mix isn't that critical for a shed, the most important thing is that it is thick enough and level to spread the load evenly.Some people don't exaggerate........... They just remember big!0 -
The first thing to remember is that you will need more than .6m3 of dry materials. When the water is added the volume of the dry mix will shrink quite heavily. I am unable to find my reference book that quotes the reduction, but I think that it is at least a third. This means that you will require a dry mix volume of 0.6 x 1.3= 0.78m3. The mix need not be stronger than 6:1. Therefore the cement is 0.12m3 and the ballast is 0.72 m3. An "all-in" ballast will be suitable for your slab. You will need to work out for yourself how to buy these small volumes of ingredients. No need to muck about with separate sand and aggregate. I think that what I have said is right. If anyone knows different then feel free to correct me.I can afford anything that I want.
