The launching and recovery does concern me slightly, as the slipway I'm intending to use at Loch Lomond is quite steep. Might just have to investigate alternatives though.

which slip are you using? i think one of the slips near balmaha has a guy with an old range rover who will glady dunk your boat in the water for a few quid,same to get it out again....work permit granted!0
