Possible break through in reclaiming bank charges?

Hi all,
I haven't read anything on these forums which acknowledge this bit of news, and i didn't even realise it existed until today, but i thought it may give some renewed hope to people like ourselves in reclaiming these charges.

To be honest with you anyone who actually attends courts can get a strike out claim dismissed and can apply to have their POC amended.

It's a bit like this case.

If people think being able to file a claim, irrespective of the actual outcome, is some kind of battle victory,... well I think they know deep down they are already losing the war.

Thousands of claims have been filed in the county courts in an attempt to reclaim bank charges. It's not the filing of the claim that is important, (except to the court since the fees paid keep them in business), but the final decision of the judge regarding any claim.

The claim was already ''filed''. The battle victory was beating the strike out application after the banks 'won' the test case.

It is a very minor victory in the sense that this eventuality is better than the banks having succedded in thier bid to secure a strikeout.
