Ive just got a letter from Barclays offering me the above fre for 24 months.

I use Sunbelt Kerio Personal firewall, Spybot and AVG Anti-Virus at the present time.

Is it worth me getting rid off these and using F-Secure? If so is it a light program to use on my laptop? as ive had Norton antivirus before and that was very heavy going on my Laptop which only has 256MB Ram.

So is it worth my while downloading this peeps?

Slightly off topic, but if you have XP, it's worth getting another 256MB of ram from https://www.crucial.com, the laptop will run a lot better.
Ever get the feeling you are wasting your time?

f-secure is a very fast, efficient and stable anti-virus. the footprint probably won't be as small as avg i suspect. i have both avg and avast on my windows ME laptop, and they have given me no problem whatsoever for nearly three years now. i received the same letter from barclays, but i won't be installing f-secure. have a nice weekend :)

If it's the internet security suite then it's definitely worth having - using combined programs makes things easier to set up & maintain, & people I know who use F-secure are very happy with it - certainly better than Norton or McAfee's offerings, & for free it's a definite 'yes'. Remember to uninstall AVG, preferably before installing F-S but it shouldn't make too much difference if you do it after as AVG uninstalls fairly cleanly. Having 2 antivirus programs running is not recommended by any of the AV companies. If it is the full suite then you also only need the one firewall. Spybot can remain on with no problem though the real-time scanning of F-S should be more than adequate.

hi guys just installed F-secure but have had to take it off cos it bogged down me system and it was running at a crawl just like when i had Norton :( im sure it is a good package but i need more than 256MB on me laptop to run it.

Not really looking to upgrade the memory on my laptop at this moment peeps cos me debt is more important but many thanks for the links as well
