Swimming Pool repair

Hi, I have a swimming pool 9 meters by 5 metres and the lining has ripped and been removed. The cost of a new lining is rediculous, so thought I would fix the original render and coat it with something - This is where I fall down, whats the best product to put on top of the render in a pool? paint? Rubber paint? chemical blah blah paint? any advice would be appreciated.
Many thanks
P

Are you completelu re rendering? If so Mapei do a product which I have used in a leisure centre pool construction. Quick call to a rep will point you in the right direction

Not completely rendering it, just repairing a couple of metres which I will put SBR in the mix, its just the finish over the top im unsure about, have you used "RUBBER PAINTS" before? they any good? Most of the pool looks fine with the original blue colouring present, however it had a lining when we moved in which I have taken out and it does need coating with something - just not sure what.
    Thanks for your help

Never used rubber paints in this situation, only in repair of roofs etc. I don't know how they would stand up to constantly having chlorine against them. I would ring a company that deals with pool maintenace and ask them what they would use. Nothing to lose with that approach

Thanks Kiran, sorry to be a pain but all help greatfully received.
Did you coat your leisure centre job in anything after rendering? or was it tiled? do you know a reputable company to ring for advice? ive seen paints that costs upto £200 for 13 litres (which I don't have a problem with as long as they do the job) trying desperately not to have to buy a liner as its going to cost a few grand!!!

The pool was a tile finish on top of a Mapei render on top of an RC tank. The two companies I would call would be Mapei and Sika, both of whom deal with these type of products. I would describe the situation and ask them if they have a detail they could send you.

My only other idea would be to see if you can get a patch to the liner, this is quite often done on attenuation tanks but I'm not 100% sure asthetically how this would suit you. How big of an area are we talking?
