Argos store card

...well im on a roll...successfully claimed against lloyds for one loan, got rejected for another which i have contested by contacting FOS this morning due to me being in the armed forces therefore the PPI was unfit for purpose as i woldnt have ever needed cover due to 'sicknes, injury, unemployment' etc due to the nature of the job...

Now dug out the papaerwork for my argos storecard and low and behold Im paying approx 5.50 monthy in payment & purchase protection and have been since march 2005..so i have put another letter into them this morning too... Based on the same grounds - armed forces... Do you think I'll be succesful? has anyone else had succes with argos?

    Well done to you and Congratulations.:beer:

    Yes I believe you do have a chance on the Argos one too, especially if again they have the same sort of policy as LLoyds, go for it, fingers crossed.;)

    Yeah most definately, I used the template from here and it went something along the lines of ;

    ..I believe the Payment protection insurance sold to me was not fit for purpose as the nature of my employment (armed forces) means I would not be made redundant,and should I become sick or injured, my employers would cover this for the first year, minimum...

    I then said that had this been explained in full by the seller (as they are oblidged to do to) I would not have purchased it.

    Heres hoping we are successful!! Keep me posted!!
