Persimmon Homes

Hi bexfizz,
I bought a Persimmon coach house as a new build 5 years ago in the west midlands. I had excellent service from the beginning. The sales staff and site foreman were very helpful. I think it's like anything in life, if you treat people in a polite and constructive manner, they'll always do their best to meet you at least halfway. I had some snagging, but nothing major and it was all sorted out for me.
As for whether a new build is a good buy that's a whole different debate really. My first home, 12 years ago was a Westbury end terrace new build. Once again, no problem with the service or the quality of the house.

Have had a horrible experience with Persimmon.
Started the process in May 09, expecting to move in end of August 09. After dealing with 9 seperate(and each more useless than the previous) sales people, we finally moved in end of Nov 09.
Since moving in we have had numerous problems, varying from when running the bath we can use no other water in the house, various leaks, patio doors replaced 3 times, no less than 50 visits from plumbers to 'fix' faults etc
Based on my experience I couldn't consciencely recommend Persimmon to my worst enemy!Expecting Baby No 1 - 20/06/14 - Team Yellow!0
