Carolans, sold in morrisons is just as nice, a local pub used to use in instead of Baileys.

£9. in ASDA, and theirs appears to be only £14 normally as against Morrisons £18.48 re the £9.24 half price offer!

No sorry tried several but none as good as Baileys, but after the 3rd glass you wouldn't notice anyway!

We tried the tesco one at christmas and it was actually very good. Don't know the current price now though!

I don't mind cheaper versions mixed in a coffee or hot chocolate but you can't beat the original if you are drinking over ice... thanks for the info will have to grab a couple...

Here we go, Baileys is made with Irish Whiskey and is 17% Alcohol (ABV) many cheaper alternatives are made with wine and a bit of whiskey and are typically 14%. Lidl do one that is made with Whisky and is 17% and costs £5.99 for 700ml, Aldi do one at Christmas that is also 17% but only £4.99.

Whether you prefer them over Baileys is down to you. But the reason some are cheaper is that they are made with some wine rather than whisky/whiskey!

Read the bottle and make your choice.
