I don't mind cheaper versions mixed in a coffee or hot chocolate but you can't beat the original if you are drinking over ice... thanks for the info will have to grab a couple...0

Here we go, Baileys is made with Irish Whiskey and is 17% Alcohol (ABV) many cheaper alternatives are made with wine and a bit of whiskey and are typically 14%. Lidl do one that is made with Whisky and is 17% and costs £5.99 for 700ml, Aldi do one at Christmas that is also 17% but only £4.99.
Whether you prefer them over Baileys is down to you. But the reason some are cheaper is that they are made with some wine rather than whisky/whiskey!
Read the bottle and make your choice......0
