Trouble is I don't have an account with Abbey National. Should I be worried; the email address is mine?
Thanks

I would. Call Abbey and ask if they ever email their customers.

It's a phishing attempt. If you click on the logon button you'll be sent to a site looking like the real one and invited to log on with your id and security info. Needless to say, you'll have your account details stolen and probably the contents as well.

The "Logon" button appears to take you to a korean website. This is definitely phishy.

If you just hover your mouse over the "Log on" button, you can see it would take you to:

    http:// https://www.ilovewater .or.kr

Definitely not the official banking site! You should never ever ever ever click a link in an email claiming to come from a bank. You should always type in the web address of the bank manually, or save it in a trusted bookmark.
You're spelling is effecting me so much. Im trying not to be phased by it but your all making me loose my mind on mass!! My head is loosing it's hair. I'm going to take myself off the electoral role like I should of done ages ago and move to the Caribean. I already brought my plane ticket, all be it a refundable 1.

If you hover your mouse over the log in button & look in the bottom left hand corner of your browser you can see it's not from Abbey. In fact can you edit your posat and remove that link in case someone clicks on it and gets caught out please? It's a fake website that captures personal details for fraudsters.

So I followed the "not recommended" option and got this:

Should I really be worried, even though it is clearly marked as an Unsafe Website? :D

Good for you if you use Internet Explorer!
I don't personally use it because it's so slow. Google Chrome is fast, but doesn't quite have that same level of anti-phishing security, which is a shame!

Google Chrome is now showing that as a phishing site.
