we have been given alloacated a house and have been sent a letter that i`m confused about.
It states in actual wording The proposed tenancy start date will be 12th April does this mean move date?
with a view to sign up the week before...one weeks rent will be required at sign up.

The tenancy start date is the date you take over the property, ie. you can move in that day.:jProud mummy to a beautiful baby girl born 22/12/11 :j0

and they want you sign the contract the week before. Although you are being asked to pay a weeks rent the week befor when you sign, this money will cover the first week from 12th April till 18th April.0
