Nope, you shouldnt give dogs cows milk, it can upset their tums.
If you are worried about his bones and joints, check out a website like Denes for supplements.

My baby staff is a little younger than yours and she gets tired after her walks.
I actually brought it up when she went to see the nurse for her monthly check because she still sleeps for ages during the day particularly after a walk or playing in the garden. The nurse said it was completely normal as was the loud snoring that goes along with it!
The aching part may be her muscles completely relaxing from the water after her bath. If the water is warm it will sooth her muscles and make them very supple which may make it seem like they are aching.
May be worth giving the vet a call and see what they advise? There used to be a street named after Chuck Norris, but it was changed because nobody crosses Chuck Norris and lives.0 -

A good length of hose pipe makes a good MSE substitute. Please forgive me if my comments seem abrupt or my questions have obvious answers, I have a mental health condition which affects my ability to see things as others might.0 -

SNAP! These bits made me laugh. Our previous dog was a Retriever, and this little lazy sleepyhead really amuses me! What a snore they have - like little old man snoozing in the house.:rotfl:It's what is inside your head that matters in life - not what's outside your windowEvery worthwhile accomplishment, big or little, has its stages of drudgery and triumph; a beginning, a struggle and a victory. - Ghandi0 -
If the limp gets worse or becomes more persistent, get it checked out. Could be something like hip dsyplasia, which may cause arthritis in later life. (I found that out the hard way when mutt wasn't insured at the time , and arthritis is now ruled out as if it develops it'll be due to an existing condition.)All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.
Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.0 -
Actually just realised the OP hasnt mentioned checking it out with the vet - would think thats your first port of call.0

Glad to hear you're going to the vet, hope that goes well.
I know about the five minute rule when they're puppies but I literally couldn't have done that with my boy, he'd have been bouncing off the walls he had so much energy!
They're all different but definitely the vet is the best way to go. Good luck!0 -
If not tired then tire them mentally with training & so on rather than physically. OP please let us know how he went at the Vets I hope he's ok0

Just so I feel confident in his bones & joints...... would it help if I gave him some milk every now and again?
He loves the stuff but I dont let him have it really...think he's only had it twice!
Or is milk bad for him??
To ensure your pup has enough minerals for strong bones feed him raw meaty bones such as chicken wings occasionally, or you could see if he likes a little plain yoghurt? Neither milk nor bonemeal will be beneficial for the joints which need sufficient complete (animal) protein and essential fatty acids: a good quality puppy food will be supplying all these elements. Temporary stiffness is more likely to be down to overuse of the muscles than to signify a problem a problem with the joints or bones but obviously the latter needs ruling out.Declutterbug-in-progress.⭐️⭐️⭐️ ⭐️⭐️0
