wedding band & car
hi all,
I'm getting married in July and I'm struggling to find a good (& reasonable) band to play at the wedding and also a car to take the bride to the big event.
I just wondered if anyone has any recommendations?
Cheers,
Huw
(nb - we're getting married just outside cardiff).

We had a band called The Undecided (http://www.myspace.com/theundecidedwales) play at a dinner dance that we organised.
They often play at the potters in Newport if you wanted to hear them before getting in touch.2014 Target;

We had an extremely good band and reasonable too when we got married in 2008, based in Cardiff. From the first dance to the last people danced and the floor only got quiet when it went to the ipod as they had a break between sets! I looked over the dancefloor at one time and it was a sea of dance, love it!
Let them know Sam sent you from MSE and you'll get a better rate than their website:

my hubby is in a band,
what i would suggest is find out the local music pubs in your area, and go there when they have bands playing, as then you can make your own mind up.
you have to think about the general age of the people at you 'do' as it is pointless getting a young bad who plays alot of greenday etc when you have an older crowd, who would like the older rockier stuff, like the stones, rod stuart etc.... or even older stuff.
I personally wouldnt go for recommendations, go and have a look yourself.
good luck for the big day, hope it all goes well:beer:Work to live= not live to work0 -

last sunday we were down at the copthorne, culverhouse cross. they were having a wedding fayre and there were a few wedding cars parked outside as well as a horse and carrriage.
Perhaps give them a ring and see which company they were. We are already married so didn't pick up any details!!!!0 -
Friends of mine used Chariots Wedding Cars based in Coedkernew, between Newport and Cardiff. They said they were really good, at a reasonable price. They shopped around and were very pleased. On the day the cars looked amazing.0
