Refunds onto debit cards?

Hi,

Last week I returned a hire car to Enterprise, and they in fact owed me money because I left fuel in the car. I wasn't asked to enter my pin (he may have swiped the card - but I didn't see) and now the funds are still not in my account. Does anyone know how long it takes for refunds onto a Visa Debit? I thought they were immediate but don't want to call Enterprise to chase my money in case it is a little premature.

Thanks in advance :-)

Enterprise don't need your card again as they store your details from when you picked up the car. You should have been given an A4 print out which showed all the amounts they credited/debited to your card whilst you had the car (this is what they usually do IME).

It will take up to a week for the amount to be credited to your account.

Thank you, yes they did give me a rpint out which was incorrect as they said I paid for an upgrade (which I did not) so he wrote on the front and circled £34.96.

I will wait a week and see then.

    Thanks again. :j
