Congestion Charge Question

Hi,

I was driving in London on Friday afternoon and took a wrong turn looking for an address and I think I may have gone into the congestion charge zone for a few seconds.

I can't remember the name of the street and don't want to pay the charge if its not necessary (i.e. if I didn't go into the zone) - is there anyway to find out from TFL if you are required to pay or not?

Thanks in advance.

Ring Boris to check, but seriously I'd bet my last dollar that if you put one wheel over the "boundary" for a nanosecond, you will get charged. ;);)
I like the thanks button, but ,please, an I agree button.

Will the grammar and spelling police respect I do make grammatical errors, and have carp spelling, no need to remind me.;)

Always expect the unexpected:eek:and then you won't be dissapointed

Could you find the street (on google maps) then determine if you did go into the zone or not. If you did then the fee is escalating as we speak!

Post up the route you where using so we can check, there are cameras on most entry/exit roads to the CC area. If you have ventured into the zone then today is the last day you can part with £10 as otherwise if you have been caught then you are butt fcuked ;p

I don't understand why you can't phone them up and ask for them to check your reg number to see if it is on their system grrrr

Decided to take the hit and pay £10 rather than the more likely £60 if left later than today. Thanks all.
