Oh no Sally - everything is probably hitting you at once. Take some time to chill with B. I know you like to be out doing stuff with her but sometimes your body needs to mend itself first. We have a long, hot summer coming (!) so there will plenty of time to take her out when you feel more like yourself. x

Not to look on the black side Spud, but you don't think he is being bullied or something or maybe one of his friends took the tie off him as a joke, and he doesn't want to say?

has he got changed today spud and left it in the changing rooms? Maybe the locker key came off when he took it off from around his neck?

No hun, he hasnt had PE today. He had to buy a new tie as they get in mega trouble if they arent dressed correctly.

The locker key was actually threaded on the same ring as his house keys and has a deposit of £25 that we lose if he loses the key.

He does have memory/organisation issues, but even I cant understand how he's managed this today

Thats a good question Tenmah. He's gone back to school to ask at the office re his key, and have a search round the locker area now school's empty, but I'll have a word when he gets back home.

I have to say I did think the same...but then I know that boys are notorious for loosing things at school. My brother was just a nightmare and forever loosing stuff!

Like I said don't be too hard on yourself - it will come over you in unexpected waves when you least expect it. Make this afternoon an easy one with cuddles on the sofa with B (oh yes please I could do with that myself), with the cartoons, have an easy tea and a long soak in the bath. Tomorrow you can climb Mount Everest!! Okay - you promises!!!!! xx

My DS is just the worst for losing stuff. He lost this bunch of keys last week, but they had been handed in at the office. We're not sure if the locker key was attached when he got the keys back, they were definitely there before because he used his locker on Friday.

Yyay my daughter is going to pick up a takeaway for tea tonight! I have copied Luc's recipe though and will be trying it out very soon.

She is also going to get my house spring cleaned by professional cleaners as part of my birthday present. I am so lucky! She feels that as she cannot actually do any housework herself, this will be her contribution.
