Question about a plasma TV that MAY get a fault

And how would i get a new panel/telly under the guarantee, how would I "prove" the black levels were low?
Theres a on going case in America to prove this. The people suing took there G10 that was just over 6months old and a new G10 into court. They turned off the lights and both tvs set up the same showed a picture a black screen.... the six month old G10 was near bright gray, the new one was near total black!
A professional tv calibrator will be able to calculate your contrast ratio if your in doubt. This is the risk you take with Plasmas, I would never buy one without a 5 year warranty.
Most people who are suffering this issue have had there tv from 1week to 6months. Plasma blacks normally get better with age not worse.
An ex employee of Pioneer thinks the issue is a conflict between hardware and software. And if this was a feature on the G10/G15/V10's as the VP from Panasonic America stated, then why are some people not suffering from this? Thats the million pound question. I'm keeping my eye on the case in America to see what happens. If they lose they will have to admit its a fault and could cost them a fortune in repairs of the 2009 line up.
The strange thing is The Tech Guys no about this problem and said they can fix it???0
