I've got auctions running with no bids which will be easy to cancel.
I've got two auctions running with 1 bid on each that I'm happy to sell item to the bidders early. Can I do an "end auction early and sell to highest bidder" providing the bidder knows about this and agrees ?

Yes you can, you need to make sure they'd pay so you can send before you go or agree to wait.I've got auctions running with no bids which will be easy to cancel.

When are they due to finish? Are you able to package & leave the 2 items with someone to post so that you can leave the auction to run?0

You go Tues, when does the auction end?, I was just thinking of by the time people pay, not everyone pays the same day, and when u go to the post office, I personally wouldn't worry,
Any listing I do, just say post twice a week, and on the sales link put 5 business days, xxx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx0 -
i'm away tues to fri and auctions finish wed night, am just going to cancel them all and email the 2 with bids on as its going to be easier that way instead of worrying bout getting them all posted or taking them all with me to post lol0

Just copy and paste in to your listings "sorry, I will be away from etc".0

I would just let them run their course. If they finish Weds night the buyers may not pay until Thursday and you will be able to post the items Saturday at the latest.
If you have bids it seems a shame to cancel them. IF you were going to be away for over a week etc that would be different. The buyers will still get their items within in a week. And if you only listed postage as 2nd class why not upgrade to 1st class at your own cost so they would get the items in roughly the same time?0 -
chezba - I work weekends. I am not cancelling anyone's bids. What I said was that I would "end listings early and sell to highest bidder" which is not cancelling any bids. Postage is listed as first class anyway and why should I be out of pocket when I have chosen my preferred method of dealing with this situation I am in.0
