seller wants to cancel - I want the item

I won an item on friday and paid straight away via paypal. As the seller has to make the item I have sent two messages asking for deatils of the colours ect. I have heard nothing back untill tonight when I got a request to cancel the transaction. I want the goods so what do I do?

Accept the money back, report the seller and leave the seller a neg.

You can't force the seller to sell you the goods.

So if I accept then I cans till leave feedback? Having looked into the seller a bit more now I can see that they have the same two people bidding just to get the price up, how can I report that or do I have to wait untill they sell something else? Its really annoying, why bother putting something on there if you don't want to sell it? maybe they were dissappointed at the price cos their mate forgot to outbid me

They want to cancel the order and you already have suspicions, GET YOUR MONEY BACK, GET YOUR MONEY BACK!!!

If you paid by Paypal ask them to refund it the same way, keep any emails or messages sent between you until you do and i'd be very concerned if you haven't got it back within a week of asking.

I'm unclear as to whether or not you have paid?

If so ask the seller to make the refund first, don't do anything until you have that refudn safely back into your account. Once you have it back refuse the mutual cancellation and leave appropriate feedback. Do not under any circumstances accept a mutual on this, it is not mutual and seller should have to pay the fees to ebay.

If you haven't paid and you definitely have a a mutual cancellation request, then refuse it and add to the comments that you still want the item.

I had the same problem a while ago. The seller didn't want to sell the item for the winning bid price and wanted me to accept a partial refund (to cover their ebay fees). I refused, won the dispute and got a full refund. You shouldn't lose any money but obviously you've lost out on the item!
