ebay - seller wants to cancel - I don't!

I succesfully bid on and won an item on ebay on friday, paid the seller straight away by paypal and sent a message to them, telling them I had paid and requesting they send the item by wednesday, as they state in their t + c. I heard nothing back so emailed them yesterday to ask for details of the materials they would be using, as they were to create the item and send it to me. Still no word untill tonight when they have sent a 'seller wishes to cancel transaction' message. However, I don't want to cancel as I want the item and I am now left with impression that they were using the site as advertising aand had no intention of letting bidders win as I had bid on another of their items and when I was unsuccessful I recieved an email asking me to deal with them away from ebay, which I just ignored. My question is if I reject their request and pursue the item, whats likely to happen - will I get it or just be ignored? I would like the chance to leave feedback on this seller.

Well at the end of the day you cant force them to fabricate a product, but if they refused to dell it then they would get a strike? or something like that. I beleive your only allowed 3 or so before you get probations etc *i think*
Your question would be much better answered on the ebay board where folks like soolin are far more knowledgeable on ebay procedures than here.Back by no demand whatsoever.0 -
off to try there, hadn't realised there was one!0

I've had this happen before. I bid on something and 'won'. The seller obviously didn't want to sell at that price so they just refunded the money and ignored me. I complained to ebay but it didn't get anywhere.0

File a non-performing seller report on Ebay."You were only supposed to blow the bl**dy doors off!!"0

Just refuse the cancellation, then open an "item not received" dispute next week if it doesn't arrive.
You'll then be able to leave a negative feedback for them.Should've = Should HAVE (not 'of')
Would've = Would HAVE (not 'of')
No, I am not perfect, but yes I do judge people on their use of basic English language. If you didn't know the above, then learn it! (If English is your second language, then you are forgiven!)0
